Crunch Time!

I didn't want to jinx it... but now that the loan has been funded, I feel sooo much better!! :)

Monday we get the keys to our new home!! Our first house. I still can hardly believe it. I think I am in still in a state of shock. This is it!!



Throughout the escrow process, I kept waiting for the rug to be yanked out from beneath us. But, it never happened. Instead everything went through without much more than a couple of very minor bumps.

We have purchased appliances. Swatched and bought paint and painting supplies. We've scheduled utilities to commence. Next weekend we have painting to do. Next Saturday cable and internet are being hooked up, doors will be re-keyed. Appliances will delivered and installed, the alarm monitoring activated. Holycrap!!!

So this weekend will be a flurry of packing, donating, tossing, and it's getting so close... exciting and terrifying all at once. There is still so much to be done... so much to buy, so much of everything... not to mention the completion of my root canal next Thursday. Gah! I am trying to keep from flipping out.
