The bug!

We've got the baby shopping bug bad! We bought a bunch of cute outfits for Travis over the last few days... today we got a Carters sleep sack, blue with a puppy on it, a CUTE dinosaur outfit, and a footed one-piece with a small barnyard animal print all over. Also at Old Navy we bought a cute two pice outfit, and a blue onesie shirt.

Yesterday was so amazing! We've watched the video several times, once with my dad, once with Jeff's Grandma, and a couple of times while we were editing it for our DVD.

I can't believe how beautiful Travis is! We have a photo of him as our background on the computer. I'm getting so excited... it's actually feeling real, like it's going to happen!

I just can't wait! I must, however stop buying little boy outfits for now... we've spent over $150 this weekend on clothes alone! I can't resist!

!!!!!

Tomorrow!!! :) We're going to see our baby tomorrow!!! Our 4D Ultrasound is set for noon! Best of all, we should find out whether we're having a Travis or an Ashley!

Then we're going shopping! Woo hoo!! We're buying the Kolcraft Universal car seat stroller thingie and the Latch Loc car seat. And clothes!! :) In girly pink or boyish blue!! Not neutral yellow, green, and white or ecru!!

I cannot wait!!! Jeff & I are absolutely giddy with excitement!! It is finally starting to feel real!! I use so many exclaimation points!!!!

Ahh. Well, hopefully this will be the last night of not knowing. Then we will be able to refer to our baby by name and not just "the baby" or "our baby" or "the muffin."

That will rock!

Going to go eat ice cream now. Mmm. Dryers nestle Toll House Cookie Swirl... mmm.

Woohoo!

Yay! Today ended up being a really good day... We decided to change our 4D ultrasound to this Saturday instead of next Saturday. We were getting very anxious and antsy! I was assured that the baby wouldn't be any more or less bony this week than they would be next week, so I hope the pictures turn out, and we'll know (crossing fingers for uncrossed legs!) what we're having!

Also, I was very pleasantly suprised with a check for $580.00 for 1 month of Disability benefits when I went to check the PO Box. I was so shocked I called my adjuster to make sure it wasn't a mistake. Apparently, since I went to the QME Doctor for my work comp case, and while they're still waiting on my Disability Rating, they're required to pay me $580.00 a month in the meantime up to $2900.00. It's coming out of any money I receive later, but for now, I'm happy. of course, this month I am spending most of it on baby stuff and the 4D ultrasound. We're going to get clothes, and the Universal Carseat stroller thingie and the Latch Loc carseat we want. We were planning on putting it on the credit card, so at least we'll be able to pay cash for it now.

:)

We had pizza tonight... yummy!

But... now I have heartburn... must go chomp some TUMS now...

Excuse me in there...

Dearest occupant of my uterus,

I would very much appreciate it if you would refrain from kicking mommy in the bladder and cervix. You see, this makes mommy jumpy and very, very uncomfortable. Especially when her bladder is full to begin with. And just about every other time as well.

I love you very much, but such behavior is really unnecessary. Thank you for your cooperation. Feel free to keep kicking me in the ribs and anywhere else, as it really comforts me feeling that you are getting stronger each passing day. Also, I can't wait until your daddy can feel you kicking from the outside!

That is all for now!

Getting ready.

I've been feeling the baby move more and more forcefully. It's quite amazing. Mostly, the baby moves when I'm hungry or have just eaten, and when I'm laying on my side at night trying to go to sleep. Little stinker! I guess I better get used to it!! :)

I had PT yesterday, and towards the end, I was laying on the massage table while they were messing with my neck. I kept feeling this jumping in my lower abdomen. I think the baby had the hiccups! Ha!

We've bought quite a bit of stuff for the baby. Mostly toiletries, huge pack of diapers from Costco, a small package of newborn size that were on sale at the grocery store, diaper wipes, baby washcloths (the add water and dispose of them kind), nail clippers (with a super cool magnifying glass on them so we won't cut the baby's fingertips!), thermometer, pacifiers, a baby bath tub with a hammock type thing in it, a package of white Gerber onesies newborn size, and I bought some Avent bottles and a new Avent breastpump on eBay. Also, miscellaneous unisex sleepers, and outfits, and cute hats, and a few rattles, and socks. And of course, like 5 different stuffed elephants. (We're republican, dontchaknow?)

We bought these huge Rubbermaid tubs for the stuff and they are getting full. :)

It actually feels like it's going to happen!!!

Also, the past few days, I have had pain when I get up from a seated or laying down position. It's like my pelvis is beong pried open (duh... it is!!) and sometimes the pain radiates down my inner thighs and down into my groin and butt. It hurts SO much! Like I've been riding on a horse or something with my legs spread, and I'm sore in all the places a saddle would go. Awful. But, I suppose everything is gradually stretching out... so hopefully that means later on it won't be so bad. Hopefully!!

Can't wait til the 4D Ultrasound on the 31st!!!
